☉ Sarah Wreath – 光と影 (Hikari to Kage) [Wabi Sabi Audio Imprint]

Sarah Wreath - 光と影 (Hikari to Kage) [Wabi Sabi Audio Imprint]

光と影 (Hikari to Kage) marks the second release and first solo EP from Wabi Sabi, a young label focused on sonic exploration and detail-oriented aesthetics. Produced by Sarah Wreath—a German DJ, producer, and co-founder of the newly formed collective Audir—the EP captures the delicate tension between light and shadow, balance and fragmentation, presence and dissolution.
Rooted in a minimalist approach, the record weaves together refined sound design and contemplative textures, embracing the poetic beauty of impermanence. Through her expert use of modular synthesizers, Sarah constructs distorted textures and saturated melodies that evoke a constant, organic sense of underlying tension throughout the work.
The A-side features two ambient techno tracks by Sarah herself, inviting listeners into her mystical and introspective sonic world. The B-side presents three remixes with a more dancefloor-oriented edge, courtesy of HI-C, Pianeti Sintetici, and label owner Jorge Fons.
“Hikari to Kage” stands out for its formal coherence and expressive depth, delivering a listening experience that gracefully balances experimentation with versatility. A compelling work that affirms Sarah Wreath’s emerging voice and the evolving sonic identity of Wabi Sabi.

☉ Purelink – Faith [Peak Oil]

Purelink - Faith [Peak Oil]

“Faith” marks the second full-length album by Purelink and stands out as one of the trio’s most mature and refined works to date. Born from a time of transition and fresh inspiration — following their move to New York — the record is released on the label Peak Oil and shaped by a palette of granular, ethereal textures that are anything but weightless: every detail is sculpted with surgical precision.
Tracks float in a suspended sonic space, where time stretches and sound matter becomes deeply emotive. While grounded in ambient aesthetics, the music is imbued with a latent tension, perfectly balanced between disintegration and cohesion. Guest contributions from Loraine James and Angelina Nonaj add lyrical and emotional depth, enriching the narrative with poetic nuance.
With Faith, Purelink reaffirm their position as one of the most compelling acts in today’s ambient electronic landscape. This is an album that rewards careful, immersive listening — a fragile, slow-burning journey of sonic introspection.

Alien D - For the Early Hours of a World in Bloom [Theory Therapy]

“For the Early Hours of a World in Bloom” marks a new chapter in Alien D’s career, the alias of Daniel Creahan, highlighting a renewed focus on groove and movement. Each track is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, offering a fresh perspective on his sonic vision.

☉ Donato Dozzy & Sabla – Morpho [Gang of Ducks]

Donato Dozzy & Sabla - Morpho [Gang of Ducks]

Donato Dozzy and Sabla come together in an alchemical encounter that results in a striking EP: Morpho. Released on Gang of Ducks, this four-handed work explores liminal sonic territories, drifting between ambient, downtempo, abstract techno and psychedelic pulses.
The EP’s four tracks shift and evolve, suspended between structure and dissolution. Sabla’s hypnotic, broken percussion blends seamlessly with Dozzy’s sculptural ability to shape synthetic textures and deep frequencies. The result is a sonic narrative that evokes both the pulse of the jungle and the silence of the cosmos: immersive, tactile, and visceral.

☉ Mammo – General Patterns [Short Span]

Mammo - General Patterns [Short Span]

The second release from what is quickly becoming one of our favorite labels: Short Span. After the excellent debut by Sa Pa, this time it’s Mammo’s turn with “General Patterns” — a stunning double pack of six dubby tracks that form a collection which doesn’t hide behind any genre label, but stands firmly on one essential element: quality.
What truly stands out is Mammo’s ability to preserve his unique signature sound while delivering a deeply personal and distinctive take on what we define as dub music. General Patterns is a record that radiates coherence and depth, telling the story of Mammo’s sonic world with elegance and authenticity.

☉ Seb H. – untitled EP [kinetic]

Seb H. - untitled EP [kinetic]

With Untitled EP, Seb H. delivers a striking debut on DJ Wiggles’ label Kinetic — a four-track record already sold out on Bandcamp. These are raw, deeply tactile productions that showcase a mature sound design built on hypnotic loops, broken rhythms, and a persistent, unresolved tension rooted in darkness.
Clearly influenced by jungle, dub, techno, and bass music, Seb H. shapes a personal and distinctive sonic language — the result of a long-standing involvement in the scene, well before turning to production. Each track feels rough-edged yet finely tuned, revealing a sharp sense of balance between rhythmic drive and atmospheric weight.
We loved it.

☉ Various Artists – 10 Years Of Shaw Cuts

Various Artists - 10 Years Of Shaw Cuts

With “10 Years of Shaw Cuts”, the Bavarian label founded by Farron celebrates its first decade of activity with a monumental 17-track compilation that captures the most authentic essence of a radical and coherent journey.
This collection is much more than an anthology: it’s a collective manifesto, where core producers and close friends of the label contribute sharp, direct, and previously unreleased tracks—each telling the story of an identity built far from fleeting trends.
“10 Years of Shaw Cuts” demands a dense and layered listening experience, yet remains deeply enjoyable: a love letter to independence, consistency, and artistic freedom. Jonas Kopp delivers a work that once again confirms his prominent role in the contemporary techno landscape. The Argentine maestro returns to Evod Music with “Chromo Sonic“, an album that unfolds as a deep, visionary journey — where sound becomes mental architecture.

These are seven dancefloor missiles, each hiding a story within, inviting only the most curious listeners to step beyond familiar ground.
Jonas Kopp’s production approach — disciplined, prolific, and ever-evolving — gives shape to a brand of techno that is both distinctive and constantly in flux. ☉ Felix K – Berlin [Nullpunkt Recordings]

Felix K - Berlin [Nullpunkt Recordings]

Berlin-based visionary producer Felix K returns on his own label Nullpunkt with a new album paying tribute to his hometown: “Berlin“. It’s a record we listened to while imagining ourselves walking through the city’s streets — surrounded by concrete grey, yet immersed in the vibrant pulse of life that flows through every corner. From the very first moments the album reveals itself as dynamic and energetic, yet it also offers moments of stillness, reflection, and regeneration — a rhythmic ebb and flow that mirrors the many facets of urban life in Berlin. What makes the album even more striking is the unmistakable touch of Felix K, long considered one of the most refined and visionary producers on the scene. His impeccable sound design masterfully juxtaposes tribal, driving d’n’b rhythms with the hypnotic pull of textures and samples, sculpted with surgical precision.

☉Various Artists – Chronoscope Vol.2 [The Gods Planet x Liquid Drop Groove]

Various Artists - Chronoscope Vol.2 [The Gods Planet x Liquid Drop Groove]

The Gods Planet and Liquid Drop Groove join forces once again for the second volume of the Chronoscope series. For the occasion, they’ve enlisted none other than the hypnotic master himself, Mike Parker, who delivers the first two tracks on Side A. It’s hard not to wonder: how can such a distinctive sound design still manage to excite the listener as if it were the first time? Nothing more needs to be said. On Side B, we find a collaboration between Liquid Drop Groove’ Yuta and O-MA, followed by a track by Ness, who signs off with a tribal and electrifying techno cut, closing this various in style.

A must-have record for any serious techno selector.
