Mostra 2026: Five Years of Independent, Avant-Garde Curation

One exact month divides us from the next chapter of Mostra and we could not be looking more forward to joining its community once again. Since we first took part in 2024, we immediately realised the caliber of this well-crafted and carefully purring project valuing electronic music and its community at the real core of the experience.

Mostra 2026: Five Years of Independent, Avant-Garde Curation

Mostra marks its 5th anniversary as a proper organism in continuous transformation, anchored to the principle of independent culture and expanding around a human dimension rooted in local participation while reaching an international audience.
This year’s edition, taking place from the 12th to the 15th of March, will add to Barcelona’s cultural offering a programme that — true to its own benchmark — looks to the future of electronic music without forgetting the old-school roots that continue to lead towards innovation.

The festival will begin with an opening day at Casa Montjuïc, before moving to the Olympic Pavilion of Vall d’Hebron, which for three consecutive days will become the beating heart of the Mostra community. As if that were not enough, Friday and Saturday nights will extend until 3 AM, further expanding the listening experience.

The line-up clearly reflects the curatorial vision of the festival: from the live performances of Surgeon, Substance & Vainqueur as “Scion”, and The Transcendence Orchestra, to the DJ sets of Steve Bicknell, upsammy, XDB, Angel Molina and many other key figures of both the international and local scene, drifting between tempos and genres.

Five years later, Mostra continues to write and shape the scene without losing its independent identity. A community that welcomes, respects and actively positions itself within an international landscape, collaborating with European and extra-European artists and realities in the name of music.

For us, Mostra is a non-profit project we observe with attention and respect, one in which we partially recognise ourselves and from which we continue to draw inspiration.

See you in Barcelona.
